Screen time app for iPhone
Earn yourscreen time.
Scrollfee locks the apps that eat your day. To open one, pay a small fee: a set of push-ups, a walk, a photo of a finished chore, a few minutes of breathing or a friend’s OK.
For iPhone · iOS 17 or later
How it works
A fee for every scroll.
Choose what to lock
Pick apps, app categories or websites and decide when they are locked: on a schedule, after a daily limit, during a focus session or when the battery runs out.
Pay the fee
When a locked app shows Scrollfee’s screen, tap Earn time and pick one of the tasks you allowed for that rule.
Use it, then it locks again
The app opens for the minutes you set, from 15 to 120. When the time is up, the lock comes back on its own.
Tasks
Ways to earn time.
You choose the difficulty and the minutes each task earns. Every rule decides which tasks can open it.
Exercise
Push-ups, squats, sit-ups, jumping jacks
Your iPhone’s camera counts the reps on the device. Nothing is recorded and no video leaves your phone.
Steps
Walk a target number of steps
Counted by your iPhone’s motion sensors, with Apple Health as a fallback.
Photo proof
A finished chore, going outside, a page you read
Take a photo and an AI checks that it shows the task. Only with your consent; the photo is not stored.
Breathing
A few minutes of box breathing
A guided, timed exercise for when you would rather slow down than move.
- Premium
Ask a friend
A friend approves from their phone
Send a request for the minutes you need. The first friend to answer decides.
Battery mode
A battery for your scrolling.
Instead of fixed hours, battery rules share one time budget. Using the chosen apps drains it, staying away recharges it, and every finished task adds charge. When it is empty, the apps stay locked until it has charge again.
- Drains only while you use the apps you picked
- Recharges on its own while you stay away
- Tasks charge it with the minutes they earn
Strict mode Premium
No easy way out. One emergency exit.
With strict mode on, Scrollfee cannot be deleted and locking rules cannot be switched off while they are running. The one way out is the emergency pass: once a day, it lifts every lock for 15 minutes.
Scrollfee does not restrict Emergency SOS, the iPhone’s built-in emergency feature.
Know where the time goes.
Scrollfee’s screen over a locked app tells you why it is locked and when it opens again; for battery rules it shows how much you used today and when the next charge comes. Clear cues for anyone who loses track of time. Scrollfee is a self-control tool, not a medical treatment.
Friends
Better together.
Friends are added only with an invite link or code. Scrollfee never uploads your contacts and there is no public profile or user search.
Streaks
A day counts when it ends without an emergency pass, without reaching a daily limit and without switching a rule off.
Weekly league
PremiumYou and your friends, Monday to Sunday. Finished tasks earn points; everyone can follow the standings.
A friend’s OK
PremiumAsk friends to approve an unlock. Approving their requests is free for everyone.
Block and report
Remove, block or report anyone from your friends list. A report also blocks them, and our team reviews every report.
Friends see your nickname, your emoji avatar, your streak, your league points and the unlocks you ask them for. Never your apps or your screen time.
Premium is needed to earn league points and to ask a friend for an unlock.
Privacy
Your screen time stays on your iPhone.
The apps you lock and the time you spend in them never leave your phone; Scrollfee’s servers do not receive them.
Exercise is counted on the device. Task photos are checked by AI only after you agree, and the photo itself is not kept.
No ads, no tracking across apps and no selling of data.

Questions
Can Scrollfee see which apps I use?
No. Apple’s Screen Time gives Scrollfee only anonymous tokens for the apps you pick, and your usage stays on your iPhone. Our servers never receive app names or screen time.
What if I really need a locked app?
Earn time with a task. With strict mode on, the emergency pass lifts every lock for 15 minutes once a day. Scrollfee does not restrict the iPhone’s Emergency SOS.
Is the camera recording me during exercise?
No. The reps are counted on your iPhone while you move; nothing is recorded and no video is sent anywhere.
What happens to task photos?
With your consent, the photo is checked by Google Gemini through our server. The photo is not stored; only the result is kept. Photo tasks are optional and only for people aged 18 or older.
Which devices does Scrollfee run on?
Scrollfee is an iPhone app for iOS 17 or later. It needs Screen Time access, which you grant with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
