Scrollfee
Terms of use
The rules for using Scrollfee, including our zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users.
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and ODBS LLC (“we”) for the Scrollfee iPhone app, its online services and this website. Scrollfee is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/); these terms add the rules of our service. By using Scrollfee you accept both. Our privacy policy explains how we handle data.
What Scrollfee is and is not
Scrollfee is a self-control tool: it locks apps you choose with Apple’s Screen Time and lets you open them by completing tasks. It needs an iPhone with iOS 17 or later and your permission for Screen Time access. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country for consenting to the processing of personal data if that is higher. Photo tasks are only for people aged 18 or older.
Scrollfee is not a medical device or treatment. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, including ADHD or any form of addiction, and makes no promise about how much screen time you will save. Exercise tasks are physical activity: do them only if you are able to, stop if you feel pain or discomfort and ask a doctor if you are unsure. Be aware of your surroundings during step and outdoor tasks.
Locks, strict mode and the emergency pass
You decide which apps are locked and when. In strict mode, Scrollfee cannot be deleted and locking rules cannot be switched off while they are running. The emergency pass is the way out: once a day it lifts every lock for 15 minutes.
Scrollfee does not restrict Emergency SOS, a built-in iPhone feature. Do not lock apps you may need for your safety, health, work or other obligations. iOS controls how locks work and may change them; we cannot guarantee that every lock always applies, and turning off Screen Time access in iOS Settings removes all locks.
Tasks and fair play
Tasks are meant to be done for real. Do not try to trick exercise counting or photo checks, for example with screens, prints or someone else’s photos. AI checks can make mistakes; if a photo is not accepted, you can take another one. We may limit or remove features for accounts that abuse them.
Your account
Scrollfee starts with a guest account; friends features need Sign in with Apple. Keep your iPhone and Apple Account secure, as anyone with access to them can use your Scrollfee account. An account is for one person.
Community rules: zero tolerance
Your nickname and avatar are visible to your friends, and requests reach them as notifications. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not use names or behaviour that are offensive, hateful, discriminatory, sexual, violent, threatening or harassing, that impersonate someone else or that break the law, and you must not spam, pressure or harass other users with invites or requests.
To protect yourself, open Friends, tap the menu next to a person and choose Block or Report, or do the same from an invite. A report also blocks the person. You can also report abuse to info@odbs.tech. We review every report promptly, aiming to act within 24 hours; when we find a breach we remove the offending content and suspend or terminate the account responsible, without notice.
Premium and subscriptions
Scrollfee is free to download. The free plan includes locking with one rule, a limited number of task unlocks per day and friends features except those marked Premium. Premium adds unlimited rules and task unlocks, strict mode, asking a friend to approve an unlock and earning league points. The included features and limits may change; the app always shows your current plan.
Premium is sold as an in-app purchase through Apple, either as an auto-renewing subscription or, where offered, as a one-time purchase. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before that. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions). If you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Your content
You are responsible for the nickname you choose and for the photos you take for tasks. Photos are used only to check the task, as described in the AI photo verification page, and are not stored. Do not photograph other people without their permission.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Scrollfee available and accurate, but we may change, suspend or end features, for example when iOS changes. Friends features, unlock checks and photo checks need an internet connection.
Disclaimers and liability
Scrollfee is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for consequences of an app being locked or unlocked. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
You can stop using Scrollfee at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, in particular the community rules.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you a different forum.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Scrollfee after a change means you accept the updated terms.
